Cosmetic Acupuncture has been used for thousands of years to help 'Soften' the Aging Process.
Cosmetic Acupuncture involves insertion of even finer needles over the face and body to rejuvenate the skin while also addressing underlying health concerns. It's used to stimulate, relax & tone underlying muscle structures as well as increase circulation to the skin, while also improving over all health.
Each and every patient has unique skin and different health needs, making all treatment plans unique. Patients often notice a difference in the skin appearance immediately after treatment and continue to feel revitalization for the days following.
Treatments plans range from a series of 6-10 treatments, followed by a monthly maintenance treatment thereafter. Depending on age and the state of the skin, the number of treatments required to observe significant longer lasting effects may vary. Sessions are typically 20-30 minutes in length and can be very relaxing. There has been significant amount of research with promising results when comparing Botox treatments with cosmetic acupuncture.
Contraindications for Cosmetic Acupuncture are avoiding areas that have been injected with botox or filler within two weeks of treatment.
